Museum of Brisbane

Situated in Brisbane’s premier heritage-listed building City Hall, the newly renovated Museum of Brisbane explores the people, places and stories of Queensland’s capital. Showcasing important objects, artworks and documentary materials throughout five galleries, the Museum aims to be a part of the living history of Brisbane by initiating conversations around the city’s past, present and future.

To mark a new era in its ten year history, the Museum required a rebrand that would not only speak about its goals and aspirations but more importantly the building within which it resides. Through the use of City Hall-inspired typography, pattern, colour and materials, the brand takes on a sophisticated, refined feel while being warm and inviting.
